Dr. James K. O'Neill B.Sc. (Hons), Ph.D. M.I.E.E.M.

James' expertise relates principally to ecological matters affecting planning, property development & construction. He is recognised by NPWS and the Environment & Heritage Service as a qualified expert in ecological issues and maintains good working relationships with ecological stakeholders throughout the UK & Ireland.

Holds current licences to work with badgers and bats.

Roger Macnaughton B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc. , M.I.E.E.M.

Roger is an experienced field biologist with 10 years of experience in ecological survey & mitigation design. He has project managed strategic habitat surveys and protected species surveys throughout the UK & Ireland. He has advised on a wide variety of proposed developments including major windfarms (terrestrial and marine), roads, golf courses, housing and retail, hydro electric, powerlines, sewage treatment & harbour works etc.

Roger has extensive expertise in survey/mitigation design and impact assessment in the areas of ornithology, phase 1 habitat, Fossitt (2000) habitat, biological water monitoring and badger, Irish hare, red squirrel and otter survey.

He has extensive experience in consulting with planners, architects, engineers and related professions; and of negotiation with the Department of the Environment Heritage and Local Government (Republic of Ireland) and Environment and Heritage Service (Northern Ireland).

Róisín Ní Mhathúna B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc.

Róisín is an experienced ecological surveyor, carrying out aquatic, marine & terrestrial surveys and assisting with ornithological surveys. She oversees amphibian and reptilian surveying and acts as our chief marine mammal surveyor

Jessica Crowley B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc.

Honours Applied Ecology, University College Cork & M.Sc. Ecology & The Environment, Lancaster University

Jessica is an experienced field surveyor with experience in a range of mammal & bird surveys (terrestrial & marine). Additional ecological expertise includes environmental impact assessment, risk assessment, environmental quality and standards, National Vegetation Classification surveys, habitat management, environmental toxicology & the biological effects of air pollution.
