04/08: Corvus Consulting selected by the Commission for Energy Regulation to provide EIA review services
The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) is the independent body responsible for overseeing the liberalisation of Ireland's
energy sector. CER gave selected Corvus to critically review Environmental Impact Assessments carried out for all new gas
pipeline applications in the Republic of Ireland.

02/08: Corvus to Provide EcIA services to two wind farm projects in Northern Ireland
Corvus have been engaged to provide ornithological, habitat, mammal and other services (including design and assessment
of mitigation) to two wind farm projects on sensitive sites in Northern Ireland.
08/07: Corvus Consulting have been appointed as Consultant Ecologists to advise the Belfast Schools Partnership, the largest
PPP project in Northern Ireland
The BSP Consortium is led by Amey PLC, and includes three leading Northern Ireland construction companies – Farrans,
H&J Martin, and Patton Group. The first phase of the Strategic Partnership will deliver modern accommodation and Facilities
Management for a number of schools throughout Belfast.
The new schools will also provide state-of-the-art facilities for the wider community, for learning and community use during
and after the school day.
David Cargo, Chief Executive of the Belfast Education and Library Board, said: "As the largest PPP project in Northern Ireland
this is a significant project for the region and all those parties involved. More importantly, this major modernisation of
the Belfast schools' estate and provision of these exceptional learning environments, will allow the board to more fully meet
its objectives in improving further the standard of education in our schools."
07/07: Corvus Consultng appointed by Tesco to advise on protected species management
As part of Tesco's commitment
to the environment, Corvus Consulting have been engaged to provide protected species advice and management for a proposed
retail centre. Corvus will work with Tesco ensure that no ecological impact arises upon protected species as a result of the
proposed development works.
06/07: Connswater Community Greenway obtains Planning Permission
Corvus were pleased to provide ecological surveys, design advice and liaison services to the Connswater Community Greenway,
which has successfully obtained planning permission.
Update
The Connswater Greenway has since been
successful in obtaining £23 Million of National Lottery funding, beating off competition from other local projects such as
the North Foreshore and Titanic Signature Project.
03/07 Corvus Consulting appointed by Carvill Group to provide Ecological Assessment & Mitigation Design to Sirocco Quays Development.
The ambitious, £600m, 16-acre waterfront scheme by award-winning developers The Carvill Group is to transform a rundown factory
site into a "unique riverside community" in the east of the city.
The scheme will eventually include a hotel, childcare facilities, a care home for the elderly, a supermarket and doctors'
surgery all on-site.
Christopher Carvill, managing director of the Carvill Group, said: "As one of the biggest developments of its kind, this exciting
project will turn a former industrial corner of the city into a niche shopping and leisure venue, not to mention one of the
UK's most vibrant investment opportunities."
